"A Friend's Reason," reviewed by Ameaba

Just a comment: no punctuation! D:
You don’t need it, but I’m fond of punctuation in my poems. Alongside line breaks and stanza breaks they help divide and organize the poem, and it might be nice to play with it here.

One suggestion I have for the poem: could you make it more specific? Right now it is filled with some really pretty imagery, but it feels really distant. I think if you could make the poem more tactile (adding sense descriptions, probably more feeling type things here since it’s a rather sensual poem about emotional intimacy between two people) and maybe even more personal to the characters (it doesn’t have to be you. I often “make up” people in my own poems because I really want to write about a feeling, but I don’t want it to be all about me ‘cause then I get self-conscious. So I keep the meet of the poem, but I make it seem intimate by creating a character that I can write intimate stuff about. (Such as Dan from my water-snake poem. I saw a snake die similarly, but I changed a bunch of stuff so you could still get the impact but I wouldn’t have to be embarrassed about showing in detail what happened to me. xD))...

"Heat," reviewed by Ameaba

I love it!

Well, ok, to be more specific, I definitely like the story itself, and I like the vast majority of the writing, but I think that the repeating itself was clunky. Or, it was more that I got annoyed because I paid attention the first time and I didn't feel like I needed to be told over and over. Sometimes it's really great, and lovingly sarcastic, to remind people that this is a really smart person doing the stupid thing (my roommate now likes to say that, when we bump into things and scream 'ow!' that we can't think about silly stuff like keeping our hip bones far away from the corners of tables because we're too busy doing astrophysics in our heads), but I think you used it a little much.

Here's the spot that annoyed me:...

"The Black Widow's Night," reviewed by Calamari

I really love the storyline of the poem, as well as some of the imagery you use. I think it could be a bit longer, though, and some of the clunky rhythm could be smoothed out. I would try reading it aloud; that works especially well for rhyming poems.

"Pigeons," reviewed by GinKazeRyuu

Great description, though, Shy
Hahahha, but, while as it wasn't your strongest, who cares. I'm not here to expect a masterpiece each week , ya know? It proposes a really interesting idea, and the whole attempt at the metaphore thing really made me chuckle.
Like pigions huh...You're somewhat harsh, Cal. I'd be scared to ask you to describe my relationships..O.o

"Hand in Hand," reviewed by Ameaba

This is super cute! I want a relationship that lasts that long. :3

But… it feels a little empty.

The first thing I want is DIALOGUE!
Can I say that it starts a bit slow an confusing? D: I’d rather start with dialogue than a list, so I can see, hear, and feel the characters, and get to know them. The “cold” reporting of their actions is hard to keep who’s who straight. (You could start very similarly, too, with a scene of Andrew asking Eric to be a study partner, and then Eric’s response. Being a total geek and a fan girl, I even wanted to try my hand at it. Probably all wrong, though. xD...

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 21/12-08

It is the season friends and time to reflect on the year soon past. As such I would like to take a moment to reminisce about LoS’ rather rocky start as an alternative to Tokyopop (TP). It already seems a long time since me and Calamari stuck our heads together and started playing with the idea of relocating MLC HQ...

Due to an stolen laptop from one of "Ornell data"s employees there has been an major security breach. This breach has led to some deleted system files from the LoS site. This security breach has not lead to exposing any of your passwords, email adresses and similar becouse this data has been encryptet. The site is back online again now. If this has lead to mutch inconvinience I am deeply sorry.

The library is up and functioning and all members are transferred and active as far as I know. So, with that said enjoy and keep up business as usual. Write and have fun!

Sincerely

Zaul
